As Parents we must remember we set the examples for our kids. Today at dinner it was hard for me to keep my comments to myself.  Although we at In N Out not exactly 5 star dining, however, we must still mind our manners. Table to the left of us, not only was the son texting at the table the mother was also on the phone having a conversation and laughing while the husband and younger son were just sitting there.  As a older couple was walking into the restaurant a young boy ran into the women looked at her and said “what“ are you kidding me, the boy ran into her. Did his mom say anything… not at all.  And lastly, a group of young adults left their trash at the table.
Lately there has been much discussion about the lack of manners in today’s society. Customer Service is a joke. More and more kids have little to no respect. Adults dont like to follow rules, but, slowly Social Graces is making its way back. Don’t just take my word for it. Here is an article I ran across from Trend Central MIND YOUR P’S & Q’S A return to old-fashioned manners is brewing.Â
As we head into the summer season and spend more time with our family and friends enjoying the beautiful weather we must remember our manners do travel with us.  Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
When entering a building or elevator, if there is also a person exiting he or she leaves first then you enter.
At a self serve restaraunt, you are incharge of cleaning up your own mess.
No talking, texting, or listing to your messages at the movies
No texting or talking on the phone while eating.Â
Parents don’t expect your kids to have good manners if you dont
Have a wonderful Weekend
